Don José de Ugarte, vecino de este pueblo de Jalapa, se obliga a pagar a don Pedro Moreno 1,173 pesos de oro común por otros tantos que es deudor a la Compañía titulada Moreno y Arteaga de resultas de una cuenta que su tendero don Ignacio Bello tuvo con don Gabriel de Arteaga, vecino de la Nueva Veracruz, cantidad que se obliga a pagar 60 días antes de que se asignase para el despacho de la primera flota que llegue después de la fecha al Puerto de Veracruz. Como seguro de la deuda hipoteca una casa ubicada en la Calle Nueva de este pueblo.
