Don Antonio Tomati, vecino y del Comercio de España y residente en este pueblo de Jalapa, exhibió una escritura hecha en la Ciudad de Cádiz, en la que se obligan don Francisco de San Gines y don Juan Bautista Oyangoiti, el primero dueño y el segundo maestre del navío nombrado “El Constante” uno de los de la conserva de la presente flota, a pagar a don Manuel de Cáceres, vecino de dicha ciudad, 2, 420 pesos que por hacerle buena obra le prestó para la habilitación del citado navío, cantidad que ha recibido por lo que cancela dicha escritura.
