Tomás Miguel de Campo, vecino del pueblo de Jalapa, dijo que se le remató el 18 de marzo pasado en pública subasta, un negro esclavo en 250 pesos de oro común nombrado Miguel Valentín, de 18 años, que fue del ingenio de San Miguel Almolonga, cantidad que exhibió don Juan Bautista Garracín, vecino de la Ciudad de Cádiz, cargador de la presente flota, en cuya virtud declara pertenecerle el esclavo al mencionado Juan Bautista, por tanto se desiste y aparta de los derechos de propiedad, posesión y señorío.
