Don Manuel Moscoso y Freire y don Felipe Figueiras, del Comercio de España y residente en este pueblo de Jalapa, exhibieron copia de escritura hecha en Cádiz el 16 de febrero de 1773, por la que consta haberse obligado don Vicente Bergón, a pagarle a los otorgantes, la cantidad de 3, 390 pesos que le prestó a riesgo de mar “Pardo, Freyre y Compañía”; dinero que Vicente libró el 25 de mayo, a favor de los otorgantes por don Pedro Antonio de Portas contra don Cayetano José Laurido, cuyo libramiento lo endosaron dichos otorgantes a favor de don Bartolomé Salvo, quien cobró dicha cantidad, dando por cancelada la mencionada escritura de obligación.
