Don Mateo Bautista y Don Tomás de Santiago, hermanos, indios que fueron del pueblo de Almolonga y congregados en Naolinco, cuando se realizaron las congregaciones de naturales en esta Nueva España, solicitaron al Capitán Don Francisco Maraver y Padilla, Alcalde Mayor de Jalapa, les concediese licencia para vender a censo unas tierras ubicadas a cinco leguas de este pueblo, en el paraje nombrado Barranca seca, junto a Tecuantepeque, tierras que pertenecen a los naturales de San Antonio Tepetlán.
