Don Manuel Antonio de Alonso, del Comercio de España y residente en este pueblo de Jalapa, exhibió escritura de 17 de junio de 1771 en la que se obliga a la Compañía de don Manuel Rivero e hijos, a pagar en este reino a la titulada compañía Alonso y Fragua, la cantidad de 6, 660 pesos, que a riesgo de mar le suplió en Cádiz don Joaquín Felipe Dolorea, y por haber recibido dicha cantidad de don Luis Francisco Navarro, Maestre del Navío nombrado la Vegoña, de que es dueña dicha compañía, don Manuel Antonio de Alonso da por cancelada la dicha escritura.
