Andrés Vázquez y Doña Aldonza Clara de Vargas, su legítima mujer, vecinos de Jalapa, dieron poder cumplido, cesión y traspaso, a Antonio de Dueñas, mercader, vecino de la nueva ciudad de Veracruz, para que pueda pedir, recibir y cobrar judicial o extrajudicialmente del ingenio nombrado San Sebastián Maxtlatlán, 2315 pesos de oro común que dicho ingenio del debe de plazo cumplido, según consta de la obligación firmada por el Capitán Don Fernando Ruiz de Córdova y Arellano y Miguel de Tramoya, difuntos, como dueños del dicho ingenio, a favor de Doña Aldonza de Vargas, Doña Ana Francisca Matamoros y Doña María de Vargas, abuela, madre y tía de la otorgante. Y cobrados los referidos 2315 pesos con sus réditos, los haya para sí, por razón de otra tanta cantidad que Antonio de Dueñas les pagó.
