Vicente Alemán, vecino de la ciudad de la nueva ciudad de Veracruz, y Juan Bautista Marín, residente en el ingenio de Almolonga, dijeron que ambos arrendaron el dicho ingenio a Miguel de Aviñón y a Doña Luisa Valdéz, viuda de don Carlos de Sámano [y Quiñones], por tiempo de ocho años, a razón de 6000 pesos anuales, el 24 de ...de 1617; y ahora, el referido Vicente Alemán renuncia y traspasa su parte del citado arrendamiento en Juan Bautista Marín, y ambas partes finiquitaron sus cuentas; excepto de 4 200 pesos de oro común en que Vicente Alemán alcanzó del gasto hecho en la hacienda, de los cuales se ha de obligar el dicho Juan Bautista Marín, al tiempo que tienen concertado.Y estando presente Miguel de Aviñón, aceptó esta escritura.
