Luis de Córdoba y Ríos, como principal y el Bachiller Nicolás Diaz de Córdoba, clérigo presbítero, como su fiador, vecinos de la provincia de San Juan de los Llanos, se obligaron a pagar a la Santa Iglesia Catedral de la ciudad de la Puebla de los Ángeles, 423 pesos, 6 tomines y 8 gramos de oro común, por otros tantos que valieron y montaron las semillas del diezmo del año pasado de 1678, que compraron al Lic. Juan González de Castro, presbítero, colector de diezmos, para fin del mes de diciembre del presente año.
