Don Juan Vicencio de Flandes, casado con doña Francisca Bello, y don Manuel Pérez Toledano y Tirado, vecinos de Teziutlán y residentes en este pueblo de Jalapa, otorgan poder especial a don Antonio Leca y Guzmán, y a don Juan de la Fuente, para que los obliguen como fiadores de don Cleofas Manuel de Benavides Góngora y Marino, Alcalde Mayor de Teziutlán y Atempa, a favor de La Real Hacienda por el importe de los Reales Tributos, y por el ramo del medio real de Ministros, cuyas cantidades son a su cargo, así como recaudar, remitir y enterar en las Reales Cajas de México, entendiéndose que la obligación y fianza no son sólo por las cantidades que dicho Alcalde Mayor recaudase, sino también por todas las que estén en su encargo en uno u otro ramo desde su ingreso.
