Miguel José de la Paz y Arellano, vecino de Altotonga, jurisdicción de Jalacingo, junto con Manuel José de Esquivel, vecino de la Ciudad de Sevilla en los Reinos de Castilla, a nombre y voz de José de Machuca, denuncian una veta virgen, ubicada en tierras de Zomelahuacan en las cercanías de San Pedro Tatatila, entre las cuevas al pie de una bufa y orillas del río llamado Romerosco, a la cual nombran “San Miguel”, denunciando que tiene oro, plata, cobre u otro metal, otorgándose la mitad a dicho Miguel y la otra en partes iguales Manuel José y a José de Machuca, por lo que solicitan se les conceda el sitio necesario para hacienda, comederos, abrevaderos, entradas etc.
