Don Juan Manuel del Cotarro, vecino y del comercio de la Nueva Veracruz, residente en esta Villa, manifiesta que don José Antonio de la Peña, Regidor Perpetuo Alférez Real del Ilustre Ayuntamiento de esta Villa, puede libremente disponer de 15 000 pesos que existen a réditos de un 5%, en el Real Tribunal del Consulado de Veracruz, y 5 000 fincados con igual premio, en la hacienda de Lucas Martín, propiedad de don Diego Leño, pertenecientes ambas sumas a doña María Trinidad [Bárcena] Bezanilla, viuda de su difunto hermano don Miguel del Cotarro, para que con ello pueda hacer por parte del otorgante el giro que tiene establecido de curtir cueros de res, de que tiene compañía por mitad con el citado Peña.
