Doña Dionisia María de Herrera y Sosa, mujer legítima de Diego Méndez de Granda, vecina del pueblo de Jalapa, otorga poder especial en primer lugar al Licenciado Antonio Pavón de NeIra, Abogado de la Real Audiencia de México, y en segundo a don Miguel Pinzón, ambos vecinos de la Ciudad de la Puebla, para que en su nombre parezcan ante el juzgado eclesiástico y saquen censuras generales hasta la de anatema para que se publiquen en la ciudad de la Veracruz y demás partes donde convenga, a fin de descubrir prendas y caudales que pertenezcan a sus menores hijos y de don Carlos de Zugadi, difunto encomendero y su primer marido.
