Doña María Josefa de Torres y Armenta, mujer legítima de Ventura de Acosta, vecina de la provincia de Jalapa, hija del Capitán Tomás de Torres y Armenta, dijo que su padre le dejó 796 pesos de oro común, pero por ser menor de edad, se pusieron a censo sobre unas casas ubicadas en la Nueva Ciudad de la Veracruz que fueron de Francisco de Herrera, cuya cantidad y sus réditos se le están debiendo. En virtud de ello otorga poder especial a José Ramos, vecino de esta jurisdicción y residente en la Ciudad de México, para que en su representación pida, demande y cobre el principal y sus réditos corridos, especialmente sobre la casa que tiene hipotecada.
