El Capitán Don Diego de Orduña Loyando, residente en su ingenio nombrado San Pedro, dio en arrendamiento a Francisco de la Cruz Obregón una estancia de ganado mayor llamada San Diego y por otro nombre Espanta Judíos, en términos de la Antigua ciudad de Veracruz, poblada de ganado mayor, asimismo, le arrendó también los sitios y tierras que llaman de la Sierra de Santa Ana, y el ganado vacuno cimarrón, caballos y los demás anexos, que hubo de Don Ramiro de Arellano, por tiempo de seis años y al precio de 1 200 pesos de oro común anuales.
