El Capitán Don Sebastián de la Higuera Matamoros, dueño del ingenio de La Santísima Trinidad, dio su poder cumplido a el Alférez Don Fernando Ruiz de Córdoba [y Arellano], vecino de la nueva ciudad de Veracruz, para que en su nombre parezca ante los señores de Justicia y Regimiento de la dicha ciudad, y por escrito se haga postura del abasto de carne de novillo y ternero que se ha de dar durante cuatro años, a partir de 1643, en el día y forma que se acostumbra, sobre lo cual haga las bajas o rebajas que le tiene ordenadas, con los prometidos, condiciones y demás requisitos necesarios, aceptando dicho remate, a cuyo cumplimiento lo pueda obligar en favor de los dichos señores Justicia, Regimiento y República de la dicha ciudad.
