Juan López Ruiz, vecino de esta provincia, dueño del ingenio de Maxtlatlan, salió por fiador de Francisco de Orduña, residente en el ingenio San Pedro Buenaviasta hasta en la cantidad de 2000 pesos de oro común, cuando se le dé en administración el ingenio nombrado Nuestra Señora de lo Remedios y las haciendas de ganado mayor nombradas El Hato Grande, ubicadas en la jurisdicción de La Antigua Veracruz, que quedaron por fin y muerte del regidor Lius Pacho Mejía.
