Don Juan Martín de Zurbano, vecino del pueblo de Jalapa, dijo que se le remataron en la Ciudad de México las alcabalas de esta jurisdicción, Jalacingo, Teziutlán, San Juan de los Llanos, Papantla, Tetela y Jonotla por 5 años, razón por la cual nombra como administradores de dichas alcabalas a los Capitanes Manuel de Olmedo, José Robledano de Cardeña, Juan Antonio de Zavalza, el Alférez Laureano Fernández de Ulloa, Alonso de Alba, Domingo Díaz Mier y Joaquín Ildefonso de Torquemada, todos de esta vecindad.
