El Capitán Fernando Niño de Córdoba de la Higuera, vecino de la Ciudad de Tlaxcala, residente en su ingenio nombrado la Santísima Trinidad, como marido y conjunta persona de doña Josefa Petronila de la Higuera Matamoros, sucesora del vínculo y mayorazgo que tiene el Capitán don Francisco de la Higuera Matamoros, su padre, en virtud del poder que su esposa le dio, vende a Juan Bravo de Alarcón 2 caballerías de tierra ubicadas en términos de este pueblo en la cañada de San Andrés, en el paso del Río del Potrero, en un altillo que corre hacia los montes, mismas que hizo merced el Marqués de Salinas, Virrey de esta Nueva España, a Francisco Melián y compró don Andrés Pérez de la Higuera y Catarina Ruiz, su mujer en 1617. La venta se hace en 300 pesos de oro común.
