El Capitán Francisco de Aguirre, Alcalde Mayor de este partido, Juez de Caminos y de Registros, dijo que por la distancia que existe entre los pueblos de este partido y agregados del de Zongolica, y no se puede faltar al despacho de los trajinantes y por la necesidad que tienen los naturales de ser bien tratados y administrados, y porque hay muchos mercaderes que entran y salen a vender defraudando, situación por la cual nombra por su Lugarteniente a Juan Barbón, para que en su representación aprehenda y desarme a todos lo que delinquieren, principalmente cuide que no agravien a los naturales ni a ninguna otra persona.\n
