El Capitán [Miguel] de Orbaiceta, Alcalde Mayor de este partido, Juez Comisario de este nuevo camino, de visita en la cárcel de dicho pueblo, halló presos a Manuel López por causa criminal y querella que en contra de él dio Juan de Etor; a Juan de la Cruz negro esclavo de Francisco López por denuncia de Lope de Gainza, Alguacil Mayor por haber huido; Marcos de la Cruz, por causa criminal; Juan Francisco, indio que está preso por solicitud de una india sobre haberle sacado un machete, pero por no haber causa contra él se le dejó libre; y Melchor Baltazar, indio declaró estar preso por orden del Gobernador Pablo Jiménez, por 10 reales que debe de tributo y él como Alcalde Mayor mandó que pagándolos quede libre.\n
