Doña María Josefa Sánchez, viuda de don Juan de Ocampo, vecina de este pueblo de Jalapa y don Francisco de Aro, mercader de este pueblo, se encuentran en litigio y pleito, debido a unas bofetadas que el citado señor de Aro, propino a una esclava de la señora Sánchez, las cuales causaron la muerte de la esclava, por lo cual obligan al acusado a pagar la cantidad de 100 pesos y 5 pesos y 4 reales para los gastos del entierro de la difunta esclava.
