Doña Eugenia Francisca de Amilibia Guraya y Lezama, viuda del Capitán Don Francisco de la Higuera Matamoros, como madre y tutora de Doña Josefa Petronila de la Higuera Matamoros, heredera del Mayorazgo de la Higuera, dio su poder cumplido al Lic. Don Manuel del Pozo, Vicario y Juez Eclesiástico del ingenio La Santísima Trinidad, para que en su nombre reciba y cobre del Padre Rector del Colegio de San Ildefonso de la ciudad de la Puebla de los Ángeles y de su Procurador, 3000 pesos de oro común, que están cargados a censo redimible sobre dos sitios de ganado menor con 10,000 cabezas, por modo de sufragio y capellanía, que fundaron Don Andrés Pérez de la Higuera y Doña Francisca Díaz Matamoros en este ingenio, el 6 de junio de 1616.
