Don Miguel de Zaragoza, vecino de la Nueva Veracruz, dijo que en dicha ciudad otorgó su testamento, en el que señaló lugar de entierro, albaceas y herederos, y hoy por vía de codicilio, nombra por albacea a Juan José Rodríguez, Comisario de Guerra en este pueblo, para que se encargue de los gastos de su funeral y entierro conforme a su testamento, manda por vía de legado 50 pesos a Simona Rodríguez, 25 a Joaquina Gómez, 15 a María, hija del portero, 10 a Ursula esclava y 25 pesos a María Cuevas de la casa de Crisóstomo Barroeta, 15 pesos a la criada Pepa, 15 pesos a la otra criada Pepa, todo lo cual manda se cumpla.
