Don Pedro Pera, administrador de la Casa de Comercio y Compañía titulada Gibert Tutsol y Grau, presentó a don Juan Manuel de Revilla, vecino de la Nueva Veracruz, una libranza por cantidad de 100 pesos, a lo que Revilla contestó que no paga por no tener fondos del girador, pues los que tiene son producto de vinos y otras menudencias que de su cuenta y riesgos le remitió, se pagaron los fletes que envió de su cuenta a Veracruz en el Bergantín “Atrevido”, por lo que el otorgante señaló que protestaba por los daños y perjuicios que se le eroguen a la compañía que representa contra el girador o contra quien haya lugar.
