Juan Ciprián Romero, pardo libre, vecino del pueblo de Jalapa, dijo que el difunto Nicolás Romero lo nombró heredero de la mitad de sus bienes y la otra mitad la otorgó a las Ánimas Benditas, por lo que se adjudicó una casa de paredes y tejas, con el sitio que le pertenece, que linda al oriente con solar que era de Mariana Tirado, al norte con la calle de Santiago y casa de la viuda de Nicolás de Oliver, "alías" Cuernavaca, al poniente con casa y solar de los herederos de Simón Blanco, y al sur con solar de Patricio José de Santa María, la cual vende a José Miguel Cardeña, de esta vecindad, por el precio de 350 pesos.
