Don Juan Ricardo de Guzmán, vecino del pueblo de Jalapa, quien realizó poder para testar, en el cual mandó dar libertad a una mulata de nombre María, hija de su esclava Tomasa, a la cual por vía de codicilio y debido a un disgusto, mandó nuevamente a ser su esclava, y habiendo reconsiderado ese disgusto, manda por el presente codicilio que sus albaceas le den carta de libertad.
