Codicilio del Capitán Alonso Sánchez, vecino de la nueva ciudad de la Veracruz, enfermo, estante en este pueblo, por el cual dispuso que su cuerpo fuera enterrado en la iglesia del Hospital de Jalapa, y que el hermano mayor de él, se le dieran 100 pesos de oro común de limosna de sus bienes. También ordenó que se le den 50 pesos de oro común a Fray Pedro Muñoz, guardián del Monasterio de San Francisco de Jalapa.
