Juan Miguel de Valencia, vecino del pueblo de Jalapa, dijo que el Alcalde Mayor de esta jurisdicción lo ha tenido preso 15 días por escándalo con cierta mujer casada sin que lo cogiesen en el delito, con lo que para precaver y evitar escándalos, rumores y salir de ahí, le han pedido dé segura fianza, otorgando en hipoteca una casa que tiene en este pueblo en 200 pesos, obligándose así a evitar la ocasión del escándalo expresado.
