Don José de Echeagaray, vecino del pueblo de Jalapa, otorga que ha recibido de doña Paula Barradas Meléndez, Mayordoma de la Cofradía del Carmen, la cantidad de 500 pesos de la que entregó recibo, obligándose a tenerlos en depósito irregular, por el tiempo de 5 años, pagando 5 % anuales, y en el caso de que tuviese el dinero en su poder por más tiempo, seguirá pagando réditos, y para seguridad del pago hace hipoteca de una casa que hace frente con la Calle de Belén y Casa del Rey, al poniente linda con casa de doña Josefa Pérez, al sur con casa de don José de Herrera y al norte con casa de las Apotronas.
