Don Juan Montañés de la Cueva, vecino del pueblo de Jalapa, compró un solar y una casa de paredes de cal y canto, cubiertas de tejas, que lindan al oriente con solar de Beatriz López, al norte con casa y sitio de don Juan de Quiñones, Alguacil Mayor de este partido, al poniente con la calle que sube de la Plaza Pública a la Plazuela del Rey y casas del Capitán don Manuel de Olmedo, doña Ana Antonia Camino y doña Petronila Javiera Rodríguez Díaz y al sur con casas de los herederos de don Gregorio Fernández Mantilla, con la condición de reconocer un censo de 600 pesos de principal, pagando 30 pesos anuales a favor del Convento de San Francisco de este pueblo.
