El Bachiller Juan Bernardo Díaz Mier, Clérigo Presbítero Domiciliario del Obispado de la Puebla de los Ángeles, vecino de Jalapa, otorga poder general al Licenciado Carlos de Thormes y Suárez, Abogado de la Real Audiencia de esta Nueva España y vecino de la Ciudad de México, para que comparezca ante el Rey, en su Real Audiencia y Chancillería que preside en la citada ciudad, donde pida y suplique se le conceda licencia para formar una capilla donde celebre los oficios de su hacienda “El Encero”.
