El Escribano Público Miguel Eustaquio Cardeña, certifica que comparecieron ante él, don José Gutiérrez de Palacio y don Antonio González de Miranda, del comercio de España y residentes en este pueblo, y dijeron que con motivo de haber fallecido don José del Castillo Herrera en México, a quien le vendieron varias mercaderías de España, tienen que remitir la escritura de obligación que firmó dicho Castillo a la Ciudad de México para asegurar el valor contenida en ella, y temerosos de que suceda algún acontecimiento en el camino, le exhibieron la citada obligación para que se ponga en este registro, como testimonio para que acrediten la firma.
