Don Juan Alonso, gobernador; Don Francisco de la Luna y Don Ambrosio Pérez, alcaldes de Jalacingo, dijeron que el año pasado tuvieron mucha necesidad y hambre, se ausentaron más de 40 tributarios casados, otros enfermaron o murieron, razón por la cual se hallaban muy alcanzados para pagar los tributos reales, y para tener alguna ayuda, solicitaron al Alcalde Mayor Don Manuel de Argüello y Quiñones, les diera licencia para vender un solar y poder pagar algo de los dichos tributos. El Alcalde Mayor les concedió la licencia solicitada.
