Don Tomás Morán, vecino y Corredor del Número de la ciudad de la Nueva Veracruz y residente en esta Villa de Xalapa, marido de doña María Gertrudis Ladrón de Guevara y Campo, otorga poder especial a don José Suárez, Canónigo de la Santa Iglesia Catedral de la ciudad de la Puebla, para que pida, demande, reciba y cobre de los patronos de la obra pía que mandó fundar don Pedro de la Hedera Verástegui, Tesorero, la cantidad de 500 pesos que se le consignaron a la citada esposa del otorgante, esto por haber salido huérfana en el sorteo que se realizó para la citada obra pía.
