Pedro Bravo de Alarcón, vecino de este pueblo, dijo que durante muchos años prestó servicio como Mayordomo en una hacienda de ganado mayor de José Robledano de Cardeña, pero por haberse consumido dicha hacienda, se han ajustado cuentas a favor de él, por lo que han convenido en que dicho José ha alcanzado 600 pesos y por no tener dinero para pagárselos, hace hipoteca de sus bienes a favor de la Cofradía o hermandad de Nuestra Señora del Carmen, obligándose a pagarle junto con los réditos de 5% anuales, en 9 años, haciendo hipoteca especial de un potrero y media caballería de tierra que tiene en esta jurisdicción y deslindadas en esta escritura.
