Manuel Ortiz y Manuel Saldaña, vecinos de Jalapa, dijeron que Felipe Ortiz y Juan Ortiz, padre y hermano del primero, otorgaron escritura por la que se obligaban a pagar a don Manuel de Ochoa 82 pesos, por los que hipotecaron dos solares en la calle de los Tecajetes, y cumpliéndose el plazo de la escritura no sólo no pagaron la deuda, sino que vendieron un solar al mencionado Manuel Saldaña, lo que fue sabido por el acreedor y presentó juicio, por lo que otorgan que se obligan a pagar a don Manuel de Ochoa 92 pesos dentro de 6 meses, y para su seguro pago hipotecan el solar que tienen en el barrio de los Tecajetes que es el mismo que compró a Felipe Ortiz.
