Don Mateo Badillo, Alcalde Ordinario de Primer Voto, dijo que tuvo noticia del fallecimiento de don Juan Manuel Rosillo, vecino de la Villa del Saltillo en esta Nueva España, y ocurrió a la casa mortuoria de don Diego Leño, quien hizo juramento, manifestando los bienes que el difunto trajo de vuelta a Veracruz, todo lo cual se haya en poder de Fernando de Uribe, vecino de la Ciudad de Monte Rey en el Nuevo Reino de León, compañero en la caminata de dicho difunto y quien dijo le encargó éste entregar a su mujer doña Eugenia Josefa Nuin.
