Doña María Josefa Verdugo de la Rocha, con licencia de su esposo don Raymundo Luis de Laiglesia, vecinos de España y residentes en este pueblo de Jalapa, declara que don Julián de Salazar y Monroy, nombró por herederas de sus bienes a doña Micaela de Rivera y doña Gertrudis Faustina de Rivera; ésta última por su fallecimiento nombró al Doctor don José Verdugo, su sobrino carnal y tío de la declarante, en quien recayó la propiedad de diferentes tierras en la jurisdicción de Iguala, mismas que vendió a don José de la Borda, en la cantidad de 6, 700 pesos.
