Cristóbal de Lozana Salazar, vecino de Jalapa, y Juan Rubio, oficial de sastre, residente en esta provincia, formaron una compañía para vender ropa y otros géneros durante dos años, en esta manera: el primero entregó al segundo 1 000 pesos de oro común en mercaderías de Castilla, de China y de la tierra, como son ruanes, creas, jerguetas, tafetanes, sedas, mitanes, paños, naguas, huipiles y otros géneros, para venderlos en una tienda que Cristóbal de Lozana tiene en este pueblo; y el dicho Juan Rubio, pone su oficio y trabajo de sastre; al término de los dos años, Cristóbal de Lozana se llevará dos tercios de las ganancias, y Juan Rubio, un tercio de las mismas.
