Don Juan Antonio de Bárcena, vecino y del comercio de esta Villa, prestando voz y caución a su madre doña Francisca Gómez, vecina del Valle de Carriedo, otorga poder especial a don Martín Sánchez y Serrano, vecino de la Nueva Veracruz para que en representación de la citada su madre la represente en el juzgado y ante cualquier otro tribunal donde penda el juicio de inventario de bienes del hermano del otorgante, don Manuel Antonio de Bárcena, quien falleció violentamente, bajo disposición testamentaria que tenía otorgada en cuya disposición instituyó como heredera en la tercera parte de sus bienes a su madre.
