Ante Don Pedro Díez de la Barrera, Correo Mayor de esta Nueva España y Alcalde Mayor de Jalapa, pareció un mancebo huérfano, natural de esta provincia, mestizo, llamado Alonso de Reynoso y le solicitó le nombre un curador ad liten, pues desea aprender el oficio de zapatero con Melchor Mendoza, vecino de Jalapa; habiéndose nombrado a Domingo López Rebolledo, vecino de este pueblo por tal curador, puso al dicho Alonso de Reynoso con Melchor de Mendoza para que aprenda el oficio de zapatero, por tiempo de cuatro años.
