Juan Bautista de Arroyta, Escribano Público de la jurisdicción de Jalapa, certifica y da fe en testimonio de verdad, que en cumplimiento del superior despacho del Marqués de Casafuerte, Virrey de esta Nueva España, con cédula de Su Majestad inserta para la pública jura del nuevo Rey y señor Luis Primero en esta jurisdicción, destinó al Capitán Juan Ricardo de Guzmán, Alcalde Mayor y nombró por Alférez a don Manuel de Olmedo, vecino de esta cabecera, y convocó a todos los vecinos principales de toda la jurisdicción, al batallón de la milicia, a todos los gobernadores y oficiales de todos los pueblos para proceder a la jura respectiva.
