El Capitán Don Francisco de la Higuera Matamoros, dueño del ingenio La Santísima Trinidad, dijo que por cuanto trata de hacer postura para que se le rematen los diezmos de ganado ovejuno, cabrío y otros de las haciendas de este obispado, dio su poder cumplido al Alférez Don Antonio de Medina, vecino de la ciudad de Oaxaca, para que en su nombre parezca ante los señores hacedores de los diezmos de la Santa Iglesia Catedral de la ciudad de Oaxaca y ante quien deba, por tiempo de tres años, haga la postura o posturas que convengan para el efecto de que se le rematen los diezmos pertenecientes a ese obispado y que se pagan en el de la Puebla de los Ángeles.
