Don Juan Pensado, labrador vecino de Jalapa, dueño del ingenio viejo hace solicitud de testimonio de 3 instrumentos que pertenecen y comprueban el dominio de sus antecesores del mencionado ingenio, a saber: la escritura de partición que hicieron los herederos de Francisco Pérez Romero de 13 de abril de 1666; la segunda de venta de la mitad del ingenio al Capitán Pedro Zapata de Ezquerra de 3 de agosto de 1714; y la última de venta de la otra mitad del ingenio a favor del mismo Capitán de 31 de agosto de 1714.
