Doña Juana [María Sousa] Farfán de los Godos, mujer legítima de Don Antonio de Orduña Loyando, dueño de este ingenio, como uno de los herederos del General Don Fernando de Sosa[Sousa] Suárez, Caballero de la Orden de Santiago, y de Doña Juana Farfán de los Godos, su legítima mujer, dio su poder cumplido al Alférez Juan Montero, vecino y regidor de la nueva ciudad de Veracruz, para que en su nombre reciba y cobre de los bienes de sus padres y de sus albaceas, los pesos de oro, bienes muebles y raíces que le pertenecen de sus legítimas paterna y materna.
