Don Vicente Gutiérrez, vecino del pueblo de Tepeyahualco, Jurisdicción de San Juan de los Llanos, informa que por herencia de su padre don Nicolás Gutiérrez, le tocó una esclava mulata blanca de nombre María Gertrudis de la Luz, de 18 años, misma que se le había extraviado y recogió caritativamente doña María Nicolasa de Torquemada, quien desde los 12 años la ha tenido en calidad de servidumbre, por lo cual le otorga su libertad por el aprecio que hacia ella le tiene, dándole María a la otorgante, la cantidad de 35 pesos, como valor de dicha esclava.
