Doña María Victoria Solera, vecina de la Nueva Veracruz y residente en esta, viuda de don Cayetano Brocos, dijo que habiendo cesado el motivo principal con que confirió poder [especial] a don José Manuel Reyes, con fecha del 11 de marzo pasado, para el arreglo y liquidación de cuentas con su socio don Manuel Torres y Otero, y estando Reyes próximo a restituirse a su destino de la villa de Alvarado, la compareciente otorga que revoca y anula el relacionado poder, dejando a Reyes en su buena opinión y fama.
