Don Francisco Antonio Díaz y Herrero, del Comercio de España y residente en el pueblo de Jalapa, otorga poder a Joaquín Chacón y Torres, Contador General de la Curia Eclesiástica del Arzobispado de México y Regidor Perpetuo en los reinos de Castilla, para que en su nombre ajuste el pleito pendiente con don José Cienfuegos, quien se halla preso en la Ciudad de Guadalajara, capital de Nueva Galicia, asimismo haga cuenta con los deudores, otorgando los instrumentos acostumbrados que se le pidan, y para todo lo que se ofrezca, le confiere éste con libre y general administración.
