Para la dicha información, el alcalde Mayor de Jalapa, Don Juan de Fuica Lezama, recibió el juramento del Alférez Jose de Medina, y preguntando sobre las nueve caballerías, lo dos sitios de ganado menor y la merced de agua del Salto de Naolinco, que quedaron por fin y muerte del Capitán Roque Gutiérrez de Ceballos, dijo que si Don José de Ceballos y Burgos, recibiese en cuenta de sus legítimas las dichas tierras en 6000 pesos, poco más o menos, quedarían con bastante satisfacción los menores hijos y herederos del dicho capitán.
